Curtis White is a prominent novelist and essayist and will be reading form his works on campus. He first came to public attention as a culture critic with his best-selling The Middle Mind: Why Americans Don’t Think for Themselves (2003). His work appears regularly in The Atlantic, Slate, Salon, Harper's, The Village Voice, and more. Curtis White's new novel, Lacking Character, will be published by Melville House in March 2018.
