I believe the key to academic success is deliberate practice, actively repeating skills towards mastery. In my first year writing class, we focus on strategies and habits to help students learn how to be successful. In my second year writing class, we focus on student choice, finding a meaningful topic to explore, research and write about for the semester. In both classes, we use digital platforms to create websites to showcase outstanding student work.
