April McGrath

Hi! My name is April and I am an MA Linguistics student at SFSU, and I am also doing the TESOL graduate certificate. I went to SFSU as an undergrad for linguistics as well and I loved it! My area of interest in the field is language documentation and revitalization; I think indigenous languages are super interesting. I would love to work in language documentation someday, helping make archives of language vocabulary, grammar structures and more. I also hope to utilize my TESOL certificate to teach ESL classes post-grad. In my free time, I like to play music, go on bike rides, swim and spend time with friends.
