Leah Flores

Leah Flores is a second-year grad student in the M.A. Linguistics program. Her research at SFSU is shaped by an interest in the many ways language is molded to describe personal belief about the self, the mind, and the human experience.

Flores is working toward a certificate in Computational Linguistics as she completes the M.A. program. In learning to utilize computers for large dataset text processing, Leah also hopes to learn about the relationships amongst metaphorical patterns in the description of various belief systems. In her free time, Leah likes to write songs and poetry about her own beliefs, experiences, and quest to grow happiness from a wounded world.
